Many people are under the misconception that churches just want their money. The truth is that if we were able to fund our minitries without raising money, we would certainly choose to do it. All ministry efforts must be funded in some way. Our congregation gives tithes and offerings, but these are usually only sufficient to cover basic expenses and utility bills. This is the reason we must ask for your help. Rest assured that any funds you supply to us will be used for ministry purposes and as a bonus, they are fully tax deductable.
About our fundraisers:
Like any small group, most of our fundraisers are local, such as, 25 cent dip dinners, rummage sales, car washes and such for our youth group and other small funding needs. But for our larger funding needs we try to reach a larger audience.
Online fundraising allows us to do this. Our greatest fundraisers are for Ministry, Missions and 'Relay for Life' (an organization that supports Cancer treatment and research). Funding these ministries are very important to us, and we try to fund them throughout the year. Every family I know has been affected by cancer in one way or another, so please consider taking part in our:
